The 35×55 m main arena
Our main arena measures 35 by 55 metres and is laid with premium silica sand over a drainage system. Even, consistent footing matters both for a horse's legs and for a rider learning balance. Lessons at every level, from a beginner's first steps in basic riding to show jumping training, take place here.
The arena is outdoors; there is no indoor school at the club. Thanks to the drainage, water does not collect on the surface easily after rain. In bad weather the instructor decides whether it is safe to ride and keeps you informed about your lesson.
Lunging ring, paddocks and the 20-box stable
Next to the main arena is an 18 m diameter lunging ring: a calm, enclosed space for lunge work and warming up.
The stable has 20 boxes and is home to the club's European horses, including school horses for beginners, as well as privately owned horses in livery. Feeding and daily care follow a steady routine, and vet and farrier visits are coordinated by the club.

A day in the life of the horses
Daily paddock turnout is a fixed part of life at İshaklı. Time outside lets the horses move freely and stretch, and the sun shades give them shelter on hot summer days.
Around turnout, the day follows regular feeding times and daily care. A horse that is relaxed and well looked after is a better teacher, and riders of every level feel that in the saddle.
Farm restaurant and a village setting at the forest edge
İshaklı Çiftlik Restoranı, our farm restaurant, is inside the club. Its terrace looks out over the arena and the surrounding countryside, so families can watch while a child has a lesson or stay for a meal afterwards. Weekend breakfasts are popular, so it is worth booking a table in advance.
The club is in İshaklı, a quiet village in Beykoz near Polonezköy and Ömerli, on the edge of the forest north-east of the city centre. The address is İshaklı, Trabzon Cd. No:36/1, 34829 Beykoz / İstanbul. There is only one location, and it is easiest to reach by car.
Visit the facility before your first lesson
You are welcome to see the arena, the stable and the horses before you book anything. Visits are by appointment, Tuesday to Sunday between 09:00 and 19:00; we are closed on Mondays. During the visit you can talk to the instructors, who put together lesson packages and fees in person, and ask about livery if you have your own horse.
